Why is this in Palace Talk?

Mods, can you move this to Completely Pointless Talk?

Yes, it should be in football talk, but your dig is totally unnecessary.

God willing, we'll all get over it, I'm sure.

'' Talk '' being exactly what it is. No boat missed at all.

I doubt that Newcastle would sell at that price.

Newcastle have a bad habit of shooting themselves in the foot with regards to losing players they desperately need in order to appease their huge support, Andy Cole being their biggest mistake in terms of losing momentum I wouldn't be surprised at all if Mike Ashley sold him on because he is utterly detached from his club, Everton are now too short of monies to be able to stay safely afloat if they spend any more on players and anyway they have Calvert Lewin setting them alight.

I'd rather Sarr personally. Very similar player and much better chance of Watford going down so we can snap him up if they do

St Maximin is still class though gutted and furious we didn't get him in in the summer especially at the price Newcastle paid. Absolute bargain

Both Saint-Maximin and Sarr were available for Palace to the St- Maximin at a ridiculously low price of £15 million last year. I think Watford paid £25 million for Sarr

Sarr is the better player, that's why he was more expensive.

ASM had the misfortune of developing in Nice, a team which rately attacked.

Sarr would cost a fortune even if they go down. They wouldn't sell for less they paid.

Last year, critics in France believed that a lack of end product stopped his progression.

ASM has been getting better and better in the EPL each week, culminating in his winning goal against Saints last Saturday.

He looks a real handful, has blistering pace and some excellent skill.

Newcastle have picked up a bit of a bargain here and his performances are going down great with the Toon army.

Palace love pacy, skilful wingers Like ASM and he would have been a great fit for our team.
