Walker seems to be on the right tonight. He has looked good going forward. Has looked dodgy in defence a couple of times but has got away with it. I don't see AWB as worse than Walker. Walker obviously has huge experience but lacks composure sometimes.

Twice so far tonight Montenegro have got free of anybody on the right. Has been a case of where's Walker?

Aaron's exclusion didn't appear to do much harm after a thumping 5-1 victory - thoroughly enjoyable game to watch for anyone concerned about the future of English football in an international context. And now AWB is potentially fit for his next Eagles game without being hacked and crippled by a Balkan bruiser.

Walker obviously has huge experience but lacks composure sometimes. And this is why AWB is going to find it difficult to dislodge Walker,TAA and even Trippier. They all probably contribute more in an attacking sense than Aaron. All 3 mentioned pose a threat in the opposition half, in TAA and Trippiers case on set pieces too. From a defensive pov AWB is immense and is second to none in the league by a long, long way. In the todays game this is not enough for a wingback. Nice to see Garth Crooks eulogising over AWB and putting him in his team of the week : "This fabulous talent has not looked back since his Premier League debut at Fulham at the start of the season. This kid is a must for Manchester United." Shame he wasn't watching him in the 7 games that he played last season, lol. However with these type of plaudits it will be very hard for us to keep hold of him. He certainly isn't under the radar anymore.

Also everyone knows the best place for him at the moment is Palace where he is loved is improving and is close to his family and friends so why do they need to be touted to the likes of Man U where he could easily go backwards at such a delicate stage of his career. AWB just have a little chat with Wilf and hopefully he will tell you about his lucky escape from United.

There are plenty of players of his age that make the jump from small to big club quite easily and the age related failure like Wilf is a comparative rarity. I bet that if Wilf were offered the chance to go back to Man United he would jump at it now
