I have no doubt that there are all sorts of legal agreements between the shareholders about what would happen in the event of one or more of the shareholders wanting out but it would be pointless to hazard a guess what they say. As a matter of interest the club's accounts are due to be published by no later than 31st March and I wonder if they are going to publish on time or whether there will be more threats of dissolution by Companies House
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

The trouble is we as fans are not going to be the first to get the truth I am sure this will soon unfold . And in my opinion it might be for the best as don’t think the Americans were in it for the long term . I hope you're right, but fear you're wrong! I can see his ego getting in the way.

Maybe a load of rubbish but I heard a rumour that we have been paying these American investors £1.5 million per month interest for there investment...know idea if true or if anyone knows anymore on this Looking at the last set of accounts the club had short term borrowings of some £32.5m against which they paid £975k in interest - so 3% in round figures. Looking at the filed documents, the borrowings were from Barclays Bank & were satisfied in Feb 18. I doubt this has changed in 2018/19.
Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five! |

I believe he stated at the time that he could have sold the entire club but wanted to be certain that we kept on in the right direction & weren't simply being used to rinse money or as a vanity project. Whether another investor can be persuaded on a similar basis is another matter.

Blimey, how did they persuade Barclays to lend the money at 3%? It's the way of the world. People who already have lots of money and want to borrow large amounts, are given very low interest rates. (unless you go to a Hedge Fund, like SJ, but then his money was running out) Normal people who might require a short term loan to live, or buy a new fridge, washing machine etc, are charged 100's%apr for payday loans.

Just heard Jordan on Talksport he would love to lead a consortium to buy the club. Well he doesn't have the money so he will need an "angel" if that was me I would say why would I lend you the money when you ran the club into the ground. Fantasy island Jordan.

I really don't want him involved at the club at all.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

We won't compete with 34k in a half built stadium. That was the point of what I said. Chelsea was a middle of the road team until Abramovich came along. City had spent years in the lower leagues. It takes super rich owners and a desire for success. Why not Palace? Because to non Palace supporting outsiders Crystal Palace is not sexy. Simple as that. If this was the 80s or 90s sure, we could buy our way up the table, bribe council officials all the way to a sw***y super stadium, pay what ever it took to make it all happen like Blackburn Rovers and the fanbase would grow and the trophies would stack up.
