Why? He's so much dead wood you could breed stag beetles in him Radioactive dead wood. Not prolific.

Hennessey, PVA and Schlupp, shocking. We do look tired however and there is no real zip around the field. Needs a shake up half time. Some dodgy ref decisions already, AWB nearly has his ankle broken in an unpunished challenge and Schlupp gets penalised for the fairest challenge for a header I’ve seen. We're lucky to be up at HT really. I'll take it though.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Burnley match thread ' by bexleydave Wanted Meyer to start for a while but that was a poor first half from him I thought. We are definitely missing Townsend. I can't see them not scoring the way we're playing at the moment, need to go up a gear in the second half.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Burnley match thread ' by bexleydave They are making it very difficult to play through them, just like Leicester did first half. No team can keep that up forever so some spaces will open up second half and Meyer can start to get on the ball more. Not exactly a game tailor made for Max Meyer but he will cause some damage.
Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha. |

The Meyer situation is very confusing - of all the games to start him in, this was probably not the one - a more functional midfielder would be better suited.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Burnley match thread ' by bexleydave Embarrassingly bad - Meyer a waste of space and we constantly pass to them, give the ball away and are always second best. Get McArthur or Townsend on, please.
