Just checked Sorloth's transfer history and after FC Groningen paid 550k euros for him in Jan 2016, they sold him for a 100k euro loss 18 months later to FC Midtjlland, who in turn after 6 months sell him to us for 9 million euros (according to Transfer markt). Doesn't due diligence and maths ever figure in our transfer dealings. You couldn't make it up.
