Guaita obviously hasn’t impressed enough to oust Wayne, unless you know better.

i think i can leave this here... but in all seriousness and in good humour, i can say that we all win if the keeper is putting in decent shifts even if it means replacing someone who we think is doing a good job, it's apparent VG was signed to be the #1.

Wayne has come a long way but how many times has he done that? Not very many....

I take it you didn't watch the match at Manure recently then?

It's not VG has made ONE good save, I would say that is not as much as not very many.

VG's got the shirt now, clean sheet and vital save. Up to WH to displace him.

Competition, that's how it should be.

I do agree. You are only as good as your last game in football, and, if I may add, Kelly was superb today. Not suggesting that he is a better player than Tomkins, but, he did well. So, I do not see how keeping Guita in goal is an issue, especially as as Wayne conceded 6 in 2 games.

Most certainly not European.

Lol. Guaita hasn’t played as many games, PZ Eagle.

Not exactly a fair comparison is it.

Hennessey has made 105 appearances for Palace.

Once Guaita has played over a hundred times, then the comparison between his “many” and Wayne’s “not very many” may be more stark.

Over the season the defence across the board has been fairly solid, 23 goals conceded which is less than Man Ure, Bournemouth, Watford and the Spammers and only 3 less than the Arse. The real issue is clearly further up the field. Don't think Roy will give Guaita a chance if Wayne is fit for next week. If he does get a chance he will be severely tested next week. Comes through that with flying colours then it will be up to Roy.

Not seen many matches this season ? WH is much improved & only out due to an injury, I know it's nearly Xmas but one save won't make VG the Messiah

Agree regarding Kelly. Nothing too fancy just did his job. Good squad player.

Didn’t say he was a messiah.

I watch every game, live on NBC.

Hennessey is improved but Guaita has played champions league for Valencia, and was one of the hottest keepers in la liga.

First match winning save of many, I hope.

If Guaita's attempt to out-dribble Vardy had ended differently he would be getting crucified on this site. Everyone needs a bit of luck...
