Forget Benteke (had enough chances) and Sorloth now loaned out... So how much have we got to spend on one of the many new strikers that have been talked about in the media? Only 2 weeks left of January now. Edited by premier fan (16 Jan 2019 3.25pm)

This post has been merged from a topic called 'wage bill !!' by bexleydave Being reported our wage bill last year was £119,000,000 which is crazy, no wonder we have no money to spend. How much money have we saved this Jan window by letting players go or loaning out. Not sure how much our turnover is now but surely we are posting losses on accounts

We spend far too much on wages, which means when a manager leaves or gets sacked we're left with the elephant in the room that the new manager doesn't want. I keep thinking short term deals are best. I haven't seen anything at all that suggests we're on the look out for a new or replacement striker for Sorloth.
