Rooty's spinning Sri Lanka to defeat in their conditions. Not with the ball, with the coin..... Eight winning tosses in a row, does he deceive them in the flight, or is it coin tampering? He is quite good with the bat as well. Would like him to be BBC sportsman of the year.

It's not so much to do with gender in recent years but since the voting became easier and social media driven the other countries of the UK outside of England vote en masse for their nominees. I'd be amazed if Geraint Thomas doesn't win. Johnny Rea will probably place again too if he's shortlisted.

Is it a 500 run pitch? England strike twice after tea, including Matthews. Really good contest here not just a dead rubber....

That last wicket looked like someone making money at the bookies. Like a couple of dismissals I've seen.

He took far too long to bring Stokes and Rashid into the attack too after Leach and Ali were left to toil in the afternoon session. I was amazed we ended the day with a hundred run lead rather than staring at a potentially large deficit. Jennings is never being removed from short leg duties the way he's performed in the last two tests.

Can we get them out for 330? Maybe.
