On my town's Facebook noticeboard, a resident gushed with praise for the protesters and asked what we could do locally to save the planet. She lives in one of the massive detached houses in the poshest road. I replied that she could start by reducing the number of (non electric, non hybrid) cars parked on her driveway, fill in her outdoor swimming pool, and stop using the outdoor hot tub and patio heaters. I've received a few 'likes' but she hasn't replied yet. Sorry about the edits; damned autocorrect! Edited by YT (20 Apr 2019 2.36pm)
