Fair dues. I don't reckon his prem level pace has gone and as a total acquisition cost, 15.6m over 3 seasons would be cheap for a successful prem player (if that's what we got, which I reckon is more likely than not).

I am but I don't want yannick back ,yes he should never have gone but that's another story, but I would not risk him after the injury

I actually think him going was amazing business.

How well we reinvested his fee is up for debate.

He can’t beat full backs for pace anymore. I’ve seen it. That’s not his only asset but pace alone he can’t get past them.

Move on, for the love of Christ.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

Agreed. When you sell a pig in a poke you don't buy it back.

Absolutely would not get a penny back on any transfer fee.

But yeah I’d take him on a free if we just had to cover semi high wages.

Whoever thinks he’s on £100k/week is nuts surely!

Id imagine somewhere around the £60-80k mark.

But hey if the boy got signed on £100k wages well done to the lad. Absolutely no way we pay a squad player that though.

Wasn’t Benteke a squad player last season?!!!!

Good on his day but past it now, he would go past 5 players then cross into row z. Townsend is much better.

Fenerbahce has made a 1,5 million offer and Everton is thinking about accepting it!! If all it takes to get him is a 2-3 million bid, then screw his wages, I'd take him. He's an accomplished player in the Premier League, he can be a t least good for the price.

Edit: Well, that was a 1,5 million offer only for a 1 year loan. Everton's asking price after that will probably be close to 10 million considering they want to recoup at least a part of what they paid for him.

Totally agree. Loved him when here but unfortunately the injury has taken it's toll, a fact Everton obviously know and are trying to cash in. Welbeck? Yes all day long
