Sako, PvA and Riederwald are all worthy starters. I expect Roy will rest Cabaye and Wilf. I hope he'll also consider giving Tomkins, MacArthur and Andros a break too. Why not give the Philips boy a go in central defence? We cant afford any more injuries there. And isn't there a young right back we could check out too?

I think Goldfinger's line-up makes a lot of sense. But I'd keep Luka, is WanBissaka up to it?

Jules

TFM - Phillips - Damo - Souare

WanBissaka - Luka - Riedewalde - PVA

RLC

Sako

His crossing is good and defensively he's sound to so although it's a step up I don't think it's weakens us from any threats they may pose. Hopefully he should be able to over lap and cover for TFM. With PVA and Souare doing similar on the other side.

Obviously it's not as much as a threat going forward as having Zaha and Townsend playing but should keep us solid to let RLC and Sako assist each other in the center from decent service on either side.

Was thinking McArthur in the center would bring more attacking ompf to the field but maybe have Luka start and Jimmy come on second half..

I know it's a bundle of changes but honestly don't see it as a weak team. As Roy has got everyone performing. Such a turn around!

Luca needs a rest especially given how far he runs in each game.

At a push I'd give Mutch and Chungy a go in midfield.

... what

Our 2nd team were pretty s*** against Bristol City in the Milk Cup.

Hennessey, Fosu-Mensah, Kelly, Tomkins, Van Aanholt (Lumeka 82), Puncheon, Riedewald, Lee (Ladapo 57), Loftus-Cheek, Kaikai (Souare 64), Sako.
Subs not used: Henry, Delaney, Phillips, Mutch.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

TBF we should've been 3 or 4 nil up before they got their 1st!

6 of those started against City.... that didn't go to bad.

PVA's one-man suicide mission cost us that game.

Rest everyone but JM, TFM and PVA. Give PVA 90 minutes to prove just how bad he is then get rid in January.

Would like to see Souare as i still think he is our best left back option once he gets match fit, but Roy not giving him any chances.

Can’t bear to loose to that mob. To much history. I’m 54 and this goes back a long way, believe me. But let’s be sensible, leave it to our manager. He has proved he knows best. 🦅

We're likely to see 4 or 5 rested, players like Townsend and Luka who get through so much running each game.

Speroni

TFM - Kelly - Tomkins - Souare

Zaha - McArthur - Riedewald - PVA

Benteke - Sako

Wouldn't surprise me to see something like that for the game. Ward and Loftus-Cheek fit would likely change a couple of those choices.

Can we play the loan players as they are season long, or can Chelsea and Man U forbid it?
