I don't know how many of you remember it but the worst foul at Palace was made by player I admired and that was George Best's career ending tackle on Ian Evans. Punch's tackle was late but KdB will still be playing football again soon, Ian Evans never played again.

I was there that day,Ian was out for two years but did return to play for Barnsley where he met up with Mick McCarthy.
Did not get back into the Palace side because we were doing well in the Top flight.

Palace 13th 2017/18.

This has stuck with me. Dreadful tackle done on purpose to someone who had just turned into an exceptional player.

Then he queue jumps for a new liver and drinks that away like the first one.

Even his amazing skills can not excuse him in my eyes.

Stop being petty and stick to the point the OP made. He doesn't want to see these kind of challenges and we should embrace that. Don't you?

Cannot believe that anyone would start a post criticising one of our own for what was clearly a mis-timed tackle that rightfully was given a yellow. Is JP a dirty player with previous for this type of thing?.... I think not. Instead, focus as someone else has done on the Liverpool guys awful tackle on Tompkins; Dawsons abh on Speroni and the organised thuggery on Zaha by the Huddersfield yobs. Get well soon Jason.

A yellow and no more. The meltdown from the Mancs and the media has been hilarious

It was a bad foul, but KDB is prob out for a bit, Punch the rest of the season! Palace fan right? If u had to listen to co workers constantly yammering on about guardiola and kdb like me you'd want it the other way around- even if ya wont admit it. They have so much money- who wants to see a 20+ point above 2nd place title winner?

KDB is a "major doubt" for TODAY's game. So basically, he'll be back probably next game, or the game after. The lad walked off the pitch, so it wasn't that bad. Embarrassing Mancs embarrassing themselves again.

Even the Referee pundit on Sky after watching the replay only thought it was a yellow. I seen far worse go unpunished.

Bit of a shame as KDB is in my fantasy team.

Yes that's right, concentrate on all bad tackles, whoever does them, for the sake of our game. Well said.

I cant believe im reading this. Players should be able to foul other players because of the league position. Has the world gone mad?
