"Ron Noades didn’t play football at any level, but he did a lot of scouting whilst Chairman. He unearthed a lot of talent and signed them. Ron Noades had a very good eye for a player.

Well, there you go. You have now said it yourself. Noades had more ability as a Chairman than Parish.

What is there to make a statement about? We're bottom of the PL and it's plain for all to see. You don't get there just by being mediocre. The other night, a set of players wearing Palace shirts had a chance to get into the last eight of a cup competition and blew it big time. We're $hite! Could the Chairman and Board say otherwise?

Yes but my point, which stands, was within the context of Parish being very involved (in all areas) yet not being football savvy. Noades let Coppell get on with it. He knew when not to interfere. He knew his limits at the time and/or trusted Coppell implicitly. Parish is the very opposite of that and that has been holding the club back for a number of years now. He's even sold 67% of it to foreigners and for what apart from the ever mysterious where is it now £50mill?

If you saw FDB as the s***test manager in football when he joined us then you must have had a crystal ball. He was a very sought after Young manager with a pedigree that is second to not too many.
