The inevitability argument I've been making I actually see genuinely happening next season with all those players out of contract. I certainly don't see it as inevitable this season or last season. But then again other teams forward plan and sell a big player with a change ready to adapt. We'd more likely just sign whoever is available in the papers after 3 games and work out a formula 12 games in after sacking another manager. The more inevitability of next season makes this season a bit easier to take. Like not really getting carried away v Chelsea when you know we're effectively boxing one handed southpaw as a right hander. Start looking for a championship manager who knows how to do things like Pulis and Allardyce do because we sure as hell can't. Oh and an acquiescent relationship isn't a successful one for long, unless Gary Neville takes over Parish's body. Another day more of Rudi's Tosh.

I am so grateful to SP and all those who have put so much work in. But now I am afraid SP is being found out with little or no planning for the future. I am sure he has his plans but NOT from a footballing person point of view. I am not call ing for his head just please get some help in from somebody who knows about football.

It will take a monumental effort and a lot of breaks from Lady Luck to stay up now. The Chelsea result shows what is possible when you have both in tandem, but you can't always rely on being lucky. A point yesterday would have been another building block on the long road to recovery but once again a result was beyond us. What has let us down is the infrastructure of the club. We still look like a newly promoted team even in our 5th consecutive season. It's a shame, because after 51 seasons, I would like to have seen Palace look comfortable at the top level. But it's hardly a shock that once again we have as a club shot ourselves in the foot. If relegation becomes a reality, then I'm not sure where that leaves the current ownership. So I wouldn't be surprised if the club is in new hands next summer. And I think Parish will be a casualty in any new arrangement - and frankly I don't think that would necessarily be a bad thing. We don't look very much like this year's newly-promoted teams.

We are a long way from being established, there is no reasons for us to be in this position, its is down to bad leadership and it will cost the club a fortune if we go down and all because the current chairman has not got the experience or expertise to run a football club in the top flight and he lacks the courage to say so and step aside to allow someone with the necessary expertise to takeover. He is not worth his current 695K a year salary not to mention his car and pension that the club pay into!

Another day more of Rudi's Tosh. The current situation says it isn't tosh, mate. Everton and Arsenal have made their mistakes once, not twice. Arsenal's may end up working out. The Ozil one isn't easy with him valuing himself above what any sane person will offer. But Arsenal have a successful business model from the football whereas we don't. Again, because other clubs have done the same, its excusable for us. Everton, Arsenal, Coventry, Portsmouth. Who will it be next time? Colchester?
