get well soon Connor! In all seriousness, I'm not too fussed about this one falling through - player seemed like a bit of a desperate reach, and the fee can be better spent in January.

From what I've read/heard it was fees that became the stumbling block so maybe we should be grateful rather than just slag the club off. The fact that we had until 1am to complete means we'd done the initial paperwork correctly. If a deal breaks down to an agents greed perhaps the whole move was about money & not wanting to play for or be successful at the Club.

You have to wonder how much Niasse wants to play football ? He won't get a look in at Everton, and is now stuck there until January (unless a foreign club comes in for him today). If he really wanted to play first team football, he would have had words with his agent, who is supposed to be acting the players behalf, though nowadays seem to be acting in their own interests.
