Our identity was relegation fodder, make up the numbers, yo-yo club. What's changed?

I only remember your description under Pulis, not Holloway, Warnock, Millen, Pardew or Allardyce. So how is it Parish's fault. Don't say he employed them, as they were given a job to do and were supported with purchases.

We got away with Pardew trying an expansive style had to wind back the dial- parish words. Appointed big Sam rescued us. Then it seem he hasn't learnt from the Pardew appointment. That's why I blame parish. Most fans knew we didn't have the players for a FDB philosophy. Whether it's our DNA or identity it's the only successful way we survived in this league. With hindsight dyche was by far the better option but many fans on here were turning their nose up.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Champagne football lemonade lifestyle ' by Guntrisoft Another thread but spot on. Parish says he wants something but won't back it up in the transfer market. He treats supporters like idiots but some of us can see through his inept rubbish That may well be because some supporters judging by the comments on HOL seem to think June 30th is the 31st of August. Things may well have been different but Klops antics put a stop to the start of that.

Every fan should be questioning what the f*** has gone on with the board's decision making and why our starts seasons are so s***. SP can't hide forever behind "he saved the club"

SP can't hide forever behind "he saved the club" Genuinely sorry it is not working out on the pitch, it's a new tack. It may take the whole season before we get it right. Also so sorry there is no one on the HOL Based on the above, in my opinion, FDB has every right to experiment and to try all the worst possible options and in so doing lose all games until the end of the window. Unfortunately, we did, its whats called a learning curve. However, days before the match, Frank did say. "It depends on who on the day is more hungry to win the game." That is down to the way the players played on the day. The games were lost on player errors. Kindly prove the formational errors that were more responsible than the player errors THAT DIRECTLY LED TO GOALS. Still, I don't disrespect your opinion, it's valid in the short term. I feel strongly that the best opportunity for Frank to experiment to his heart's content was until the end of the window and the final Squad. I won't add Frank to the same learning curve as the players until the end of November, personally. So we're down to whether we should play direct football till we get the points then worry about learning Total football. I don't know maybe that is what will happen after the International break. Maybe not, but clearly it depends on who we end up with. I've not lost sleep over it, I work nights

ignoring the sarcastic patronising of me The fatal error so far this season is the inability to defend crosses. This is basic stuff we're talking about, losing a man in the box and not pressuring the crosser. In the Hudds game Mooy (and Ince) had the freedom of SP to cross as our 3 atb system and high line was exploited by one long ball (which Schalke used again and again) into the space. Riedewald was partly to blame as well for losing Mounie. Even in the first few mins v Swans they nearly scored from a cross to Abraham. Another thing is the absymal movement of the team in possession. No one presents themselves as options for the pass, no one creates space for themselves in the 3-4-3 system as I suspect they barely understand where they should be. With Wilf there are no runners in the team and the wing backs have half a mind on not being caught up the pitch. As a result our build up play is easy to defend against. No surprise when Andros ran at their defence (going with his instinct as a direct player) we looked like we'd threaten them. Unless the movement is there then we will create f*** all. Thirdly, the system has completely negated Luka's presence by forcing him to push up instead of screening the CB's. He is a defensive midfielder, end of and should be in a midfield 3. He must take some blame for his poor performances but the system is not right for him. With 2 CB's and him in front he can drop in between them to collect the ball and distribute to Cabaye and RLC (the ideal partners for him) then stay in our half but he has too much to do now. He is a very effective player in the right system but FdB is using him poorly. Edited by iheartcpfc (28 Aug 2017 8.14am)

Edited by iheartcpfc (28 Aug 2017 8.14am) and add to that FdB was recruited by SP and then given a couple of loan signings who wanted more PL game time to increase their experience and and unproven player who cost 8mil, hardly enough to change a system. What we need to learn first of all is how to stop teams scoring at least we will get a point even if we do not score ourselves. The defensive errors were there for all to see on Saturday when Ward was responsible for the two goals conceded either side of HT. SP has to be to blame for the number of Managers who have come and left orhave been fired over the last four and bit seasons and the dismal records of having only won less than a third of our home games over the same period. What SP did in the past with the other Directors is history, he reputation will be in tatters if we are relegated as he would have overseen the biggest loss in revenue in the clubs history!
