As others have said there is not a great deal of goofball, and certainly isn't Coppell. To carry on the military analogy we played guerrilla football, bunker down a quick lightning raid and back to base. The problem we have is in the set piece battles when teams come to defend, we don't have the guns bigger enough to break the defence or the players wuth tactical ability for a surgical strike like arsenal or man city.

OK more ability for defenders on the ball might mean we are less vulnerable to high and hard pressing teams, which Huddersfield did well but retaining possession as a priority for defenders rather than getting the ball forward quickly will nullify our attacking strength. It is also going to help break down opposition in the final third unless we buy.
