Well all evidence suggests he is especially as he has been a more or less ever present for the last 4 seasons in the PL.
You might be correct in saying that evolution of the league means he will not be in the future but please do not deny his past achievements.

I like Ward he is committed and hard working and incredibly athletic. He plays almost every game of every season for 90 minutes and rarely is injured because he looks after himself and trains well.

However it is my opinion 100% that bar the first season back, when we had players like Moxey and Gabbidon in the squad, he has been the weakest performer in the team. He lacks ability on the ball and positional awareness. He isn't strong going forward and defensively isn't solid. He makes silly descisions and overcommitts. No one doubts his attitude or work ethos, but it's become clear that he isn't good enough and hasn't been for a while.

Or is it that over the course of time passed since wee got promoted... We have improved our playing staff and now.. Amongst the newer boys.. He's beginning to be outshone?

I mean... If we bought Barcelona team tomorrow... Benteke and maybe Zaha would look like joe average... You me me man you get me?

Ward would be no great loss - he gives the ball away far too much.
