Even worse is there was no alarm? Facking hell. No alarm? We'll find out last time it was tested.

In terms of building regulations, I'm guessing (hoping) that cost is irrelevant.

Nope, the people in the UK don't want to pay more tax to have a better quality of life which includes things such as health and safety standards. You need to pay more to have more. so many shouting and moaning about better alarms, better quality of building materials but nobody wants to pay for it.

They just spent £10 mil on the insulation and cladding.

So what? Who looked at value for money? Why on earth pay
£10 milllion on isulation & cladding? Buy it from eastern Europe and get people from other parts of Europe to install it. So much tax payers money is wasted in the UK. This will of course get much worse once the UK leaves the EU, prices will rocket for labour and materials and of course the quality will be no better and probably worse.

Let's not turn this into one of your beloved pro-EU threads but importing labour is not a permanent solution for a society the size of the U.K and spending money outside of your country doesn't expand your country's economy. I can tell this is not a strong area for you. If it were that way we'd rely on financial services and Nissans and not a lot else.

The cladding was probably an error, not which nation supplied and fitted it.

Give it a rest.

Yep, the usual head in the sand attitude. Never mind, carry on in blissful uncompetitive isolation. Most of continental Europe has far higher building and health & safety standards than the UK, the difference is they don't make a song & dance about it as it's part of their culture.

Ok I get it...we might have things to address. It will be uncovered. Do we really need someone like you who doesn't even like Britain coming on here slagging the country off?

You are about as welcome as turd in a chocolate cake.

Cheap shot, so you found 3 much smaller events within the whole of Europe? Yep, call people trolls when you lose the debate, classic way to admit you're wrong.

Whos's slagging off the country? I've been specifically discussing the disaster in West London. You might try and inflate someone elses's opinion to suit your own agenda but I've exposed that so it won't work with me.

Most on here already know your anti-EU , anti-Europe and general anti-foreigner stance, so no need to emphasise that anymore.
