This is great news for Palace fans. Now if we can sign Sakho and another top striker I might just relax about Allardyce quitting.

I remember hearing that AJ had signed for us again following relegation and it was a shock, but a real triumph. This is similar accept for the fact that we are still in the PL. Wilf is a real homegrown star and, given recent news, I hope this encourages the club / team / squad / fans / lawnmower men / burger stand operators /

Efin delighted!!!
~ Excuse my French, but I am trying to make Mama and Yohann feel at home.

So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet.

Anyone knows if he agreed a limited transfer fee? I do not want to be a pessimist but if it does include anything less then 50 m plus then we could still loose him.

Still brilliant news, he is a joy to watch.

Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. So pleased he has got a new deal with us. He won't need to change the eagle emblem in his swimming pool now.

Been to Anfield twice seen 14 goals and my team haven't scored any

His wages now could prove the stumbling block for a lot of teams unless Chelsea or Man City fancy him. He won't go back to living in Manchester again so this kind of safe guards him. Unless Spurs see him as their future star man which they won't. Happy days.

Exactly - a club will have to pay him first-team wages, and they're not going to do that unless they see him as a sure starter, which they won't unless Wilf has an absolutely incredible season. In which case we'll benefit, and the price for Wilf will have to be huge to reflect his value.

If we do lose Wilf in the next couple of seasons I can't see it being for less than £40 million.

This is just fantastic news, Wilf is our talisman, a player on his day can destroy any defence and i think last season he was getting up to his best on a more regular basis, after the shock of losing Allardyce this was just the news we needed, cheers Wlifried and cheers Steve Parrish
