Gary Rowett - if we could keep the back room staff he could become a very good EPL manager.
Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five! |

Regrettably, I can't really provide any suggestions as to who should replace Allardyce but I do have a very long list of people I don't want anywhere near the club.

Some of these young and up and coming managers mentioned are great, but we need a manager who can gain the respect of big named players, from the off. When SA was appointed i wasn't to sure, knew he would keep us up, but just wasn't a fan of his. I can say my opinion on him has changed over the past months and I am gutted he is leaving. Loved his honest approach to press conferences, no bull s*** from him. Some of the names in the running fill me with dread.. Edited by MPE (23 May 2017 8.46pm)

It has to be that HOL poster Matteo. With his extensive knowledge of all things football, how can we go wrong? Perhaps Willo as Assistant...fun times ahead and no berating of Officials.

Interfering or closely watching chairmen is not that big a deal. Unless of course they try to pick the team

Heard today board are keen on Silva. Mixed reports that Porto is a done deal. Telegraph journo announced on twitter that Silva is still undecided and has options in England. He was made aware of palace interest before today (so big sam thing wasn't a massive surprise to Parish, from what I've been told). Parish has also been a fan of Airtor Karanka in the past. He'd be interested but high profile sulks at boro means he comes with a health warning. Coleman would be interested I supppse. I like Gary Rowett but he's settled at derby now. The Fulham manager is highly rated in the game. He could be a good shout.
