On a serious note I think we could creep into the top ten just about. A nice season with no worry

I just want a strong start. No excuses this time decent preseason with. Manager who knows the squad! After that I'd take s boring season like Bournemouth have had or better yet a WBA season where they were around the top 10 most of the season. That safety should let us blood a few youngsters and have a go in the cup competitions.

Although this has been a deeply disappointing season, to have secured a 5th consecutive top flight season for the first time ever is a huge achievement. The club needs to build on that stability, on and off the field. So a comfortable mid-table finish, no relegation fears, maybe a good cup run (I always enjoy a visit to Wembley) and progress on the stadium. Oh, and more home wins based on Palace scoring first half goals at the Whitehorse Lane end...

I wouldn't say it was "deeply disappointing"; we had three unlikely wins against top six sides and made some excellent signings. It was a bit frustrating that we had such difficulty freeing ourselves from the relegation pack, but not disappointing. It was also going to be a challenge for Sam to un-Pardew us.

You can have a guaranteed visit to Wembley next season if you go to Spurs away

Sadly the Seaweed will get to play there too

Cynic or realist? It's a fine line!

Ok, so may be not "deeply" disappointing but to be struggling against relegation (again), to lose another manager mid season, and to have to suffer some truly dire performances and results at home, after the summer signings, was difficult to take. Winning at Chelsea and Liverpool is almost expected now but the beating of Arsenal was worth waiting for (and I remember the 1-5 defeat in 1970) though I had to miss it though illness.

Next season I'd just like to not have to worry... and as others have said, not have a long train journey home after a home defeat.
