Exactly. I can understand people worrying that we won't pick up another point, but why is there such great confidence in Swansea and Hull? We may feel bad getting thrashed away at City, but if Hull can't even take a point from Sunderland then why are they remotely likely to take 6 from us and Spurs?

Well Sunderland also were 4-0 up against us at half time.

Spurs probably won't have anything to play for by then - Much like Everton against Swansea. Of course that's also going to be true of Man Utd, who's champions league qualification is really dependent on winning the European cup. Mourinho is very likely to put out a very weakened team if they beat Celta Vigo

They need a win and so will be vulnerable to the counter attack. A lot will depend on Benetke being up for the game; his hold up play from the ball out to him will allow us to break in numbers...if they get a goal lead then they'll be mighty hard to break down as we simply dont know how to break down teams that defend deep.

I'm hoping for Palace being a couple up at half time, with Hull having had two or three red cards, ideally for their goal keepers.

Knowing us, we'll be down to 10 minute inside 10 minutes, and hold on for 0-0, suffering injuries to key players in the process.

Last minute, Hennessy gets injured and a penalty is given. Speroni, puts on his gloves, comes on for the last kick of the game (and his Palace career) and saves the penalty.

I wake up in intensive care three days later.

I think its less him, and more Puncheon, and Zaha that'll be fired up to top gear. Benetke is only as good as the options he gets, and with them being fired up, he'll chasing everything and looking to get his name on the score sheet.

I hope you're right...it's a rare sight seeing him chase down the defenders and hold it up waiting for players to join him...last game was Arsenal

They were just talking to the Irish betting guy on TalkSh!te and he described Hull as "doomed" ('oo' pronounced as the 'u' in French 'fumer'). They're doing something like 6/1 on for Hull going down; the theory presumably being that even if the do win against us on Saturday (which they won't) pigs will fly before they also beat Spurs.

We're talking about a team that lost at home to Sunderland. Oh, wait...

Spurs are a much better side than Everton.

Hull - only 1 'Away' win all season - At Swansea in their second game of the season.
Very worrying when you consider the Burnley game !

Hull to win 3-0. This is based on our 3 first choice CBs being out still (or woefully unfit). I predict a draw or a one goal win/loss if one of them is playing and anywhere close to full match fitness. However, I can't see one of them being near match fit so expect a sloppy defensive display and a heavy loss.
