Sakho is the type of player Palace should be chasing at source. The big problem now for Palace is to get him away from his home club. Liverpool would be nuts to let him go, unless he has personal problems up there. Then there are his wages. Liverpool and the like will always pay much higher average wages than Palace could ever afford. Then, does Sakho have a family with kids up there?
I hate to sound negative, but Palace are in a hole on this one.like I wrote earlier Palace must get this type of player at source, like Southampton seem to do. Just one trophy may turn a youngsters head to join a club not among the select few we keep hearing about. Even though Palace smashed Arsenal ,in the papers it was all about them. Sickening, but that's the truth about the English game....too one sided.

We should try for Sakho but as others have said we can't assume we'll get him, he won't be short of offers. I wouldn't be surprised to see us in for someone like Kone. Sunderland fans loathe him (just like PVA) and think he has an attitude problem (just like PVA and WIckham) but Sam seemed to get the best out of him.

its easy to get caught up and emotional over a player who does well .. but Yes entirely .. even though he didnt play today (liverpool) his reaction to us winning and Benteke scoring shows he is loving life here, He can be our big name signing and a few Squad players, lovely. (Perhaps remy on loan again ?)
