Haha, I've stayed away from that thread but sounds about right. I thought perhaps he didn't see it but upon looking at the replay I really think he should have at least had a go at that one. Disappointing, though he remains in credit after the weekend.
We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |

Who is this ref? Never heard of him. Dragged up from the lower leagues.

Got to play to the officials too, and they switched off. Not playing to the whistle I think. It was such an obvious foul that they probably thought it had been given.

Dragged up from the lower leagues. It's the bald headed Roger East. He's been reffing in P'ship for a few years now.

Good performance so far. Shame that a refereeing error and a momentarily switched-off defense allowed them to cancel out a simply marvelous goal. They have the possession advantage, but the game is being played more in their territory than ours. We looked far more dangerous, so I'm hopeful that we can pull out the win. With Hull and Swansea winning (and Hull almost certain to bag the three points - Spurs can still overturn the Swans) we really need at least 1 point tonight. Hopefully Zaha's fury can be turned into calm determination in the 2nd half. He looks to be the potential match-winner again, and Benteke seems to have regained his confidence in front of goal (I don't think he would've made that run for the goal before the international break). COYP!

Bangell - If Camus wrote The Myth of Sisyphus today, it would be about Jason Puncheon eternally trying and failing to pass with his right foot. |

Bit worried we're going to lose this. Seems monumentally unfair that we've won five of the last seven games yet could be as little as a point clear if we lose. Suppose that's the price we pay for being so s*** earlier in the season.
We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold... |
