I think his replacement should he leave, could come from abroad. Oliver Burke, Leon Bailey etc.

I really fancy seeing Welbeck as a replacement- different role and I don't think it would happen but he's got that open threat even if from a more advanced position. Sneaky bid anyone?

Big money for The Ox ?
"Brighton are talking about how they're coming for us. And it's like, we've been waiting in the Premier League for you for ages." Wilfried Zaha, 2017. |

Apart from a couple of class moments from Sanchez, Oxtail-Chamberpot is the only Arse player who's been remotely decent lately and the others were all toilet last night - if they'd been playing anyone who could attack they'd have been thumped again. Can't see him coming to us though and he still didn't create the kind of terror in defenders that Wilf can.

Adama Traore is apparently the best dribbler of all... 21, going down this season, may be a good investment as a Wilf replacement - may just need the right team around him to shine. Noted this has been discussed by others on this thread and someone said he is toilet - a lot of people have said Wilf was pants based on a couple of viewings when he is not doing well. Frankly I think a player like this needs decent people around him to really look great. Edited by jpegnall (25 Apr 2017 6.00pm)

Positivity has nothing to do with it. It's called realism. A contract is only worth something to the selling club to ensure we get what he is worth. Once the player is unhappy, it really is pointless keeping him. You really think I want Zaha to go? Of course not. We're very capable of offering him what he deserves, but we won't be able to back that up with trophies and medals. If you don't think Zaha deserves a chance of that, clearly you're unappreciative of anything thing he's done for us over the last 7 years. Sensible points.....all true....But clearly not what your average fan wants to think about. Money talks and the big guys just have more of it....bankrupting yourself over one or two guys is exactly the sort of thinking that got this club nearly liquidated....Which is why Parish and co are here in the first place. Zaha will do what Zaha wants to do. Parish and co and us will do our best, with or without one of the best talents we ever produced here.
