The booking was ridiculous and the referee had a clear unobstructed view of the incident. All the incidents we have discussed will form part of the 'Forensic' post-match analysis of Bobby Madley's performance by 'High command'.

There is no doubt yesterday's ref was very poor and a couple of his decisions stopped us securing the win earlier on,and ultimately could have cost us 2 or 3 points.

Both or you made your decision based on what you saw from your angle and vantage point. A referee made his decision on what he saw and often others get a much better view than he has. Many years ago I recall getting into an argument with supporters as we were leaving the ground. They were all convinced our player was pushed in the box and that is why he went down so the referee should have awarded a penalty. From my vantage point I had a much better view and told them that in my opinion (I had better eyesight then !) no hand was laid on our player so NO penalty. All about what view you get. And Jermaine Jenas on MoTD demonstrated that the ref's view of the foul on McArthur was fine and certainly no excuse for the disgusting decision he gave, so once again: bollocks. Saw Willo's first post so skipped straight to the end of the thread as I expect I haven't missed anything different to any other thread he gets involved in. Please tell me if I'm wrong and I'll give it a read.

He was shocking. Two handed push on Wilf in first few minutes was blatant as well. Wilf doesn't help himself at times but seriously think the prem refs have a bit of thing about him Clear as day penalty. Ayala got away with this crap all game. Attachment: IMG_0066.JPG (97.32Kb)
We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football. |

That wasn't offside they gave that one as handball as it flicked off his wrist. Wasn't intentional and his hands were down so was still a wrong decision. Those were two separate (wrong) decisions. Easy to confuse them as there were so many terrible calls against us yesterday.

Actually one thing all these replays and different angles do show us is that no matter where you view the McArthur one from you'd have to be blind not to seethat the defender trod on his foot, and that to give it as a dive you'd have to be deliberately dishonest.

So you expect him to be sacked, thsn? Right. Stuart Attwell was demoted so it goes to show that action is taken against referees who consistently don't perform to the standards expected of them at PL level.
