Can only guess how many we'd have conceded with Mandanda not being injured but I'd say less. Not particularly easy goals let in by WH today but generally for him too many are.

Not long term no. And I only say it as Mandanda seems to be out injured forever!! If I had a choice I would actually play Mandanda above Speroni and Hennessey. Also I don't think age for goalkeepers is that relevant. I can remember a certain ex Palace goalkeeper (the best we ever had in my opinion) being 40 years old and playing superbly for Everton. He never played for Everton at the age of 40 - he was 39 when he made his last appearance for them. Now lives near Harrogate and doesn't go to many football games.

It's a case of fear breeds fear at the back. Hennessey has no confidence in the defenders in front of him and they have no confidence in Hennessey.

Hennessey has his issues but 37 year old Speroni isn't the answer. Over a year of mistakes and you still defend him - open your eyes man !!!!!! He is the worst buy of the Pullis era - and Pullis knew it because he always preferred Speroni. Forget the age and look at the ability ( or lack of it in the case of WH )

How much more can any one player's credentials be questioned? Henessey's untennable position the team just beggars belief. I honestly think that the lack of confidence in him spreads through the team like a cancer. I wonder if his teammates or manager know about his preference for a certain adult tv 'escort'? Hmmm.

Some saying Wayne was only at fault for 1 goal yesterday. He should have punched the first instead of fail to catch it. He wasn't ready for the second. He was too close to his front post for the third and was too far from it for the 4th. He is not a premier league keeper, we have known this for a while. PS he nearly cost us a goal when Bournemouth had that freekick on Tuesday when he dived across late resulting in it nearly bouncing in off his back. We've seen this actually happen before...

We've seen this actually happen before... 9 times out of 10 that first one is a free kick. The second went in off the inside of the post, no one saves that. The third and fourth were awful defending. I wonder how many shots he faces compared to other keepers. Even in the second half Januzaj was being shdowed by two players yet still had space to get a clean effort off. Letting Defoe spin in the six yard box for the fourth was appalling. Wayne isn't great, but I can't help but feel at times that the blokes in front of him just don't give him any protection.

At the moment Speroni is the answer because of how bad W.H' is. I don't see the big deal with age!!!? Players look after themselves, they benefit from sports science and can play on longer. In terms of agility and reaction has W.H ever demonstrated this? I'm fed up of watching his failed superman slow mo dives either that or the standard planted feet, hands in the air staring at the ball in the back of the net. For those who think Hennesey is the answer I despair for you.
