Have to disagree a good cross and very difficult to defend. Same as Kells unfortunately Punch couldn't make it count. Hope someone has a word with Wilfred gone off the boil since the bust up.

Can't agree. It looked like a bad ball until it arrived, like fine Indian spin bowling. Hennessey got done by it. Having started to come though he might as well keep going, he might at least have done enough; stuck where he was in the middle he was out of the game.

was it not actually quite a very good team goal, arguably against the run of play? maybe, just maybe were looking to aportion blame where is not needed? It was a good cross but we had four defenders around Costa, Dann failed to even get off the ground and I would still argue that Hennessy could have been more positive and come and punched that. As it was he dithered and got caught himself.

watching the goal again it is very hard to blame our players, hennessey wouldnt have got to the ball before costa as it swung out and its also hard to slate dann as if you watch the runs of costa & dann the odds are heavily stacked against dann winning that. costa had all the momentum in the duel

Not forgetting that if either of the defenders had jumped with Costa and touched him, he would have been rolling on the ground holding his head and then got up limping badly....

Terrible positioning for the goal from henessy. Why was he standing there? Generally accepted by the pundits, it was in an area he shouldn't go.
