No club in this league is easy to beat and we do not have any right to say we should be beating any of them, look at our squad and look at the oppositions squad, it really is not hard to work out...we are well placed and improving defensively for a real relegation fight that we will win, easily. Bill give you the Boro one. But this is a results business and we aren't getting the results. Once or twice, bad luck, maybe. But three-quarter of the time? Nah.

There are several posters massively pro Pardew who've gone quiet because they know this is in severe sh-t. You are with the remaining fools who think that loyalty to someone who'd drop us if it suits whilst producing appalling results is worth standing up for. What a strange environment with t1ts like this around. .. I just see this as purely a player fault, we need obvious strengthening in particular parts, Souare has been an awful miss and our backup squad is sadly very thin and miles away from being good enough to replace, we have failed with recruiting the correct players, it is a gamble but we are not able to buy a 'Benteke' all over the pitch to fix all the player problems, Newcastle have had for decades this very same problem that we have now, sometimes it is reasonably successful and sometimes it is not and quite often you will find that one particular player can arrive and be the capitalist for everything you need on and off the pitch, you just need luck to find them........and luck is definitely not shinning on us at the moment. Today is the sort of day where luck could shine brightly in our direction and there is no need for you to get personal with me, I want the same as you, Mr Pardew wants the same as you, all the players want the same as you.

We can't pass, we don't fight BUT we have individual talent (hence the entertainment), not even Pardew can take that away.

I'm with you, inapickle, on this and happy to be considered as a fool or t1t by Rudi and others. I hate to see the team lose (it ruins my week), but I think on the whole we have not played that badly this year; certainly better than last season. We have suffered from lapses at the back - in particular Dann and Ward. We also miss Soaure. I see a team that is still pulling together and fighting and are behind Pardew. At Hull they kept their heads up after a dreadful penalty decision and even fought back against Man U until succumbing near the end. Last season we were defensively strong, but couldn't score - this season we can score, but defensively there have been too many catastrophic lapses (player errors). It started with Dann being out and he has not recaptured his form since his return. As much as Rudi may think I am a fool, I am shocked by the vitriol and what I see as unrealistic expectations. I have to lay some of the blame for this with Mr Parish - who has in my opinion over raised expectations with his comments that we are a mid-table club. We do not yet have a squad, funding or ground capacity to do this. I think we punch above our weight - this is not defeatist, but reflects experience of this and similar clubs. We are currently enjoying our most successful period ever - without last day relegation dramas. There are numerous big clubs in the Championship who would dream of being in our position. I also do not see who this saviour manager will be that will come in Pardew's place. I think Pardew is an average manager at an average club. Why will a big name manager or bright star come to our club? Most likely we will get a cast off - perhaps Rowett is the best we could hope for. Many have turned us down over recent years. I am happy for anyone to disagree with my opinion, hurl abuse my way, or question why I lack ambition for the club. I guess I have seen what happens too often when expectations become unrealistic; not just at this club, but others of similar scale. Leicester were a rarity for a reason. You could say Bournemouth & west brom & watford & burnley are punching above there weight or maybe better managers I don't think we are. Been unlucky with injuries but that's when the squad kicks in & the signings (most) have been iffy. It was obvious you wouldn't get a sustained run from CW in the side that 1 was always waiting to happen. Edited by lancseagle (17 Dec 2016 12.14pm)

so your a reluctant out then? surely that means deep down you know hes a bettter manager, and were a better tram than results. i hear the same parish soundbites about us becoming a proper top half team and getting into europe but we know really hes like us, a fan and i recon he just happy as long as we keep sucking on the titties of this PL cash cow. we have no right to be beating any team in this league or finishing top half. maybe i have low expectations or maybe im just a realist. i would much rather have somebody who cares about the club like pardew who i could actually imagine, and would like to be here for 10 years than some crooked sheister like fat sam or pulis who just only be here for the short term and dont give 2 s***s. Ok except Pardew doesn't care about the club,ALL he cares about is the money, same as ALL footballers today. If it was caring about the club, why does Oscar walk away from a probable league winning club like Chelsea?? FOR THE MONEY, THATS ALL!

For Parish and everyone else that in defending Pardew like to remind us that results in calendar years mean nothing. I would like to know, if Pardew stays, at what point will you start recognising stats as relevant? Surely its finally time to take notice of our abysmal run this year and act upon them now, before they really do become irrelevant and we are down.

Football is a results business.he's not getting the results so should go. If he was at any other club in any division he would have gone long ago.
