Talksport reporting this morning that Pards will be sacked if we get beat by Swansea. Coleman or Allerdyce in the mix to take over by all accounts but i would'nt rule out klinsman and think he will be interviewed should pards fall on his sword which looks pretty likely.

A main reason why we should not sack and become another Sunderland in a vicious circle

Palace simply MUST beat Swansea. Too many Palace players need to step up a gear.

Oh, and I know that I'm stating the absolute obvious but one would like to think that first team also know that by now. Furthermore, is there genuinely a clear contender for the vacancy of Manager? (Allerdyce is a no-no for me given recent misdemeanours and Coleman surely wants to stick with Wales...)

Whether Pardew is safe for the moment or not, picking up points is of prime importance. Surely not having to come from behind in every game to try and win it would be a very good place to start! I worry if we head into the January transfer window again like last season near the bottom of the league what chance would we have of picking up any players of real quality? Deja vu of last season! anyone for Adebeyor?

Great video, but Sunderland have always struggled to get decent players, due to their location. We have no excuses being in London. Originally posted by cpfc84

Everyone has to step up for Swansea … manager & players alike. Team spirit aside, we have a far better squad ‘on paper’ than the previous 3 seasons, have established Prem players & internationals so anything less than a win clearly highlights something needs to change and I’m afraid that starts with the manager. We have to start with the defence and keep a clean sheet at Swansea as this seasons defensive mistakes have been appalling. I for one would rather we won the next few games and draw with Southamption and keep Pardew but I just can’t see it happening. We lose on Saturday Pardew will be gone my Monday as he’s had enough time to get it right and there’s no way he can be in charge for a difficult 2nd ½ of the season. The club has been patient with him in the hope we keep some consistency – for a change – with the management position but enough is enough and we need results and points on the board.
