We are a tiny club with a tiny stadium and have tiny fans with huge expectations. ------- Inapickle you appear to be in complete denial when it comes to Alan Pardew's position at our football club and the job he is paid to do. I do not know what he does day to day but I would like to know if he physically gets on the training ground and drills the team especially in defensive duties or leaves it to others. Either way as manager he needs to get it sorted and quickly before its too late!! For the record, I want stability at our club and that means keeping AP BUT he has got to have a good look at himself in the mirror and change; bury some ego and start digging in so that every single player understands what they have to do defensively and if this means altering some of our players in pursuit of this then so be it. Then we should get some more points on the board and with it confidence. At present our defenders must feel it's like 'Custers Last Stand' in South Norwood and all points North. I don't normally get this vocal but I am p****d off with the lilly livered attitude being shown by some of our supporters. Now is the time to stop sodding about and start addressing the real problems not paper over the cracks. This can be turned around with a will, a plan, perspiration and a dollop of inspiration and on this subject my spaghetti bolognese has gone cold!!

Regardless of if you are pro or Anti Alan Pardew The overriding factor of this thread, Is that all those pro or anti AP have red & blue running through there veins. There are no rights or wrongs in this thread, Its full of diverse opinions and we are all entitled to ours. We have supported the club through thick and thin. Players and Managers come and go, we the supporters are here for the long haul

You have to press teams high up the pitch like they do to us. Spot on not seen a more defensive display in many years......we were scared s***less. If anybody ever needed proof that Alan "partridge" Pardew talks bollox this is it.

And only a tiny mind would fail to see that unless results change for the better very soon,we will be back in the Championship next season.

If Pardew's philosophy is to outscore the opposition, then why does he persist in playing one up front ? As soon as Wickham came on, it gave us another target to hit and we scored. The bloke spouts constant bollox. Time for No Clue Pardew to go imo.

We had a go at Liverpool ? Pardew seems to have blanked out the first half when we played so defensive we hardly got out of our own half. We only went forward once we were behind in the second half ? Anybody would think he was playing for 0 0 Even Warnock and Ollie could coach players to defend from dead balls.....which now seems beyond Pardew. The new tactics at Burnley resulted in a kamikaze formation in the last 5 mins....the team seem to be totally confused by the messages they are being given.

I just think AP cannot walk the talk. His tactical skills are limited that is why he usually is found wanting after about 18 months as he has been in other jobs so far! I wish I was wrong as all I want is a team that can hold their own in the PL and that we are hard to beat at home (I forgotten what that feels like)

If he did get fired who else is out there, who is any good and would be interested in the Palace job given the current form and position?
