..it is very frustrating to read, it's so obvious that losing is not something our players and manager want and it's so obvious our players and manager get on together and it's so obvious we deserve more points in almost every single game Mr Pardew has managed the team during draws and losses, just look and read all the reports of all the games..we are the majority of times always in it and fighting to the death, fans just love having someone to blame and to put their anger on, our problems are tiny in comparison to the problems of last season and it doesn't matter where any average team is in the table at this moment in time just as long as they continue to look like scoring every time they go forward and they are not cut adrift.

We are a tiny club with a tiny stadium and have tiny fans with huge expectations.

-------
1. Of course they don't want to lose - they are pro footballers probably with win bonuses and Bentley's to maintain!
2. How do you know the manager and players get on together?
3. It's because the opposition are scoring more than us is why we are losing games which, is the whole point of this thread. It doesn't matter a jot what the paper reports are, these are the facts!
4. Fighting to the death...when you give the opposition
a 45 minute head start then I should hope we are at least rolling our sleeves up, as for fighting to the death, probably the wrong choice of words.
5. Someone to blame....whose fault do you think setting up the team tactically and motivating them is?
6. Our goals against record is far worse than this time last season which, is worrying especially when the manager makes a statement like he has today.
7. I would prefer us to grind out some 0-0 draws and 1-0 wins rather than high scoring defeats with every game bringing no improvement in keeping the opposition out. It just isn't sustainable!
8. We are not a tiny club and I am afraid when you buy a £30M player and the likes of Cabaye, Tompkins and Towsend who let's not forget is in the current England squad, the supporters expectations will understandably go up a tad.

Inapickle you appear to be in complete denial when it comes to Alan Pardew's position at our football club and the job he is paid to do. I do not know what he does day to day but I would like to know if he physically gets on the training ground and drills the team especially in defensive duties or leaves it to others. Either way as manager he needs to get it sorted and quickly before its too late!!

For the record, I want stability at our club and that means keeping AP BUT he has got to have a good look at himself in the mirror and change; bury some ego and start digging in so that every single player understands what they have to do defensively and if this means altering some of our players in pursuit of this then so be it. Then we should get some more points on the board and with it confidence. At present our defenders must feel it's like 'Custers Last Stand' in South Norwood and all points North.

I don't normally get this vocal but I am p****d off with the lilly livered attitude being shown by some of our supporters. Now is the time to stop sodding about and start addressing the real problems not paper over the cracks.

This can be turned around with a will, a plan, perspiration and a dollop of inspiration and on this subject my spaghetti bolognese has gone cold!!

CHANGE MUST HAPPEN AP starting with Manchester City.

Regardless of if you are pro or Anti Alan Pardew The overriding factor of this thread, Is that all those pro or anti AP have red & blue running through there veins. There are no rights or wrongs in this thread, Its full of diverse opinions and we are all entitled to ours. We have supported the club through thick and thin. Players and Managers come and go, we the supporters are here for the long haul

Just read the quote again and re the comment about us having a go at Liverpool and not just sitting back - for the first half that was exactly what we did, we just sat on the halfway line and beyond and let them have the ball. You have to press teams high up the pitch like they do to us.

Spot on not seen a more defensive display in many years......we were scared s***less.

If anybody ever needed proof that Alan "partridge" Pardew talks bollox this is it.

And only a tiny mind would fail to see that unless results change for the better very soon,we will be back in the Championship next season.

If Pardew's philosophy is to outscore the opposition, then why does he persist in playing one up front ?

As soon as Wickham came on, it gave us another target to hit and we scored.

The bloke spouts constant bollox. Time for No Clue Pardew to go imo.

We had a go at Liverpool ? Pardew seems to have blanked out the first half when we played so defensive we hardly got out of our own half. We only went forward once we were behind in the second half ? Anybody would think he was playing for 0 0

Even Warnock and Ollie could coach players to defend from dead balls.....which now seems beyond Pardew.

The new tactics at Burnley resulted in a kamikaze formation in the last 5 mins....the team seem to be totally confused by the messages they are being given.

I just think AP cannot walk the talk. His tactical skills are limited that is why he usually is found wanting after about 18 months as he has been in other jobs so far! I wish I was wrong as all I want is a team that can hold their own in the PL and that we are hard to beat at home (I forgotten what that feels like)

Tony Pulis will laugh his socks off.
Never mind it could be a very entertaining relegation.

He showed his colours when he f***ed off and left us in the lurch 48 hours before the season started and a few weeks after winning manager of the season. Couldn't give a fig what he thinks to be honest

If he did get fired who else is out there, who is any good and would be interested in the Palace job given the current form and position?
