Straws and clutching spring to mind.

Why? I am not saying that Pardew didn't say clean sheets weren't a priority. I am saying the spin that Ritson has put on the story is wrong. "Warning" fans puts a very different spin on things to him actually talking about how he like to get teams to play.

Ritson is known to lie, he makes up stories, that has been proven.

Do you actually mean if we lose the next 4? Will 1 draw be enough? Or do you actually mean like I do that he has to actually win one match in the next 4 at the very least? Even then he's on shaky ground and only 1/2 games from the golden handshake of however many million to go on the pull in 20 something bars in Marbella.

Lose all four, and gone, a draw maybe, but still needing the six points on top by the 26th Dec.

His latest quotes from the South London Press seem incredibly arrogant to me, basically saying he's never going to change and Palace fans have to get over it

That'll mean 2 points from 24. We'll then have

Man U home
Chelsea home
Watford away
Arsenal away

Won't be a surprise if our complete collapse happens live on tv.

Jeez, do we need a win. No wonder I don't get excited by us winning games we should. I know the God awful runs might start the next weekend.

Yeah totally agree. He comes across like a wounded animal, but digging the Palace fans out instead of admitting he has got it wrong is a mistake in my opinion and can't see Parish being terribly impressed with that,

Reading that article I don't even know what he means about entertaining attacking style v Liverpool. He set us up and started the game with everyone behind the ball, it's only when that went wrong after being pummelled for the first 20 minutes that we started to have a go and open up. There was also nothing at all entertaining about the we way we defended that day.

It's easy to be gung ho when its other peoples money he's gambling with.

I don't even think he believes half of what he says.
He'can't reverse this slump and cant admit he might have got it wrong.

I'd give him 5 more games, anything less than 5 points and he can get his coat. And that's being generous.

The Jerk shop's Chicken Curry is reliable. Might try the chicken breast instead of on the bone though.

Sadly I have lost any faith I had in Pardew. Yet again on Saturday we did not switch on from the first whistle. We looked poorly prepared and lacked any kind of focus. I have see this time and time again over the past 18 months. As a team we look like we lack match fitness.

We only seem to wake up when we go a goal or two down and are chasing the game. Far to often we have played for only 45 minutes of the 90! Something is very wrong.

Defensively we have slowly but surely allowed the discipline installed by TP dwindle resulting in us being easy pickings from set play and open play.

We are fast becoming a team of individuals! For me we need someone to come in and organise the squad and instal a bit of discipline.

Unfortunately I lost all respect for him during the cup final! That stupid fcuking jig when we scored when he should have been getting the team back in shape and focused.

For me he has had enough time and I for one have no faith in him turning it round.

That's a very good point you make. He doesn't seem to do much if that during games. Is pretty stand offish compared to other manager. And is a lone figure in the technical area, not communicating with his coaching team either.
