Sadly a lot of palace fans are very jealous of HF and refuse to accept they've raised the bar on atmosphere. Sitting in the holmesdale against west Brom this absolutely detestable bloke was giving the HF right grief when they were setting up their displays. I'm thinking 'what a Cnut, what's his problem'? It must be jealousy. That bloke wanted to be top dog but is nowhere near. Weird!

As for political statements. Tell me one where they have been wrong? Sorry, money is ruining the game, fans are getting priced out, Sky is part of that, although it's a delicate balancing act, nobody wants to cut off the hand that feeds you.

I'm not a great fan of the face covering etc, but without doubt, they've made selhurst the best atmosphere in the league. End of!

Agreed.
If it wasn't for the HF we'd never be mentioned in the media regarding 'atmosphere' for a few years now.
When the HF don't sing the ground is sterile. Yes, they are far from perfect but any club in the land would want what we have.
It's a no-brainer.

Perhaps the club should ban any banners that aren't Crystal Palace related

I'm sure most people hate the way sky have such an influence over kick off times and ticket prices. All of us that go are really part of that problem.

It's actually people that subscribe to Sky that that are behind Sky's stranglehold on the game as that is where they get their funding from

What an unusual conclusion you have drawn. Many people give paedophiles "right grief". Are you suggesting that is down to jealousy too?

midlands eagle- my point was slightly broader obviously sky and the creation of the premier league clearly all feed into increased wages, transfer prices and in turn match day prices. Obviously sky subscriptions are a big part of this.

I'd dropped Townsend for Zaha this week. Gutted. However that was somewhat comforted by having Dann in the side.

Might try dropping Benteke for Townsend next. It hurts that I can only have 3 Palace players in my team.

I dropped Townsend as well but for Antonio, who scored but wish I'd left Townsend. Like you Dann also scored for me but I had Wickham on the bench.

Our motivations for this banner in support of Fabric stem from what we see as a crackdown on youth culture in London and the UK as a whole. The football terraces were once a place of expression for the youth of this country but were taken away from their rightful owners and replaced with a mass top down sterilisation of the game that sought furthered control and greater profits for those at the top. Our fight is primarily with those who have damaged the game of football but unfortunately negative parallels can be drawn between the decline of UK terrace culture and London's music scene today. Many of the best pubs and clubs in London (The Recreation Ground, SE1, The Port Manor and Cable) have closed in recent years more often than not to make way for expensive flats. London is not Oligarchs keeping their money safe in property, its caning it down the pub Friday night after work, going to the match on a Saturday with your pals, raving till Sunday lunch and most importantly, it is resisting those who try to take our culture away from us. Once again we see the desire for profit attempting to stamp out British youth culture. We will not let this continue.

The loss of the capitals most iconic venue would represent a physical and representative loss in this ongoing battle between profit and the cities youth. Fabric is an institution, one many of us have spent seminal nights in and a keystone in London's nightlife. Saturday afternoons might be for football but Saturday nights are for raving, for many of us they go hand in hand, a weekend not complete without both.

Fabric need cash to ready them for the upcoming legal battle with the old bill. Last time they beat them in court and with support they will do it again. Donate to the cause below.

Together our spirit is unbreakable.

Oh I do love a HF statement. By this, are they saying the we all have to go raving on Saturday nights?

I was in the pub with the HF before & after the Valencia friendly, had a bit of banter with them before the game & they invited me to stand with them behind the goal & I had a bang on their drum.
A great bunch of lads & I had a great day with them.
I really can't understand what all the fuss Is about
I would like to thank the HF for a good day out & I for one will be donating to their displays
UP THE HF!!!

Feels like we've gone a tad off topic.
Still wondering what the kid's problem was.
The merits/non merits of the HF have been done a million times over. Live and let live but always concerned when one of our flock is getting angry on tv when the rest of us are celebrating.

Happy with your kids or nephews/nieces or friends children having minimal chance to buy a property in the future and probably paying the extortionate rent these rich will charge who develop and then buy/rent out property instead of leaving as parks or community areas yeah?
Happy with tesco/Sainsburys buying up small businesses then shutting them down so your forced to go buy their dying/pesticide ridden fruit and veg yeah?
Happy with having no decent clubs to socialise in anymore?
Hence they divide and conquer. Maybe your an agent!!
I'd say a football club can do a little more than just football when they can reach 20k/30,000 people.

Gees I bet MLK/Ali/Corbyn was/is boring and embarrassing to you!!

Dear General...

We go to football to get away from all that sh1t.

We want to watch football.... if possible we want to watch Palace win and be entertained... we want to have a good time and not worry about anything.

We DON'T want to watch some spotty herberts dressed like the Phantom Flan Flinger holding up a tatty bed sheet with Fabreze (LOL) written on it!

In case you hadn't noticed we have The Crystals and Kayla the Eagle to provide pre-match entertainment and neither of them have political messages ruining their displays!

I have no objection to the HF's political aims and visions of the future.... just don't ram it down our throats on matchdays thank you.
