yes thats true. regardless of what was said if anything its a terrribly sad event. i only wish someone had stepped in before it was too late. The story is still so confused that some are saying that it was a row between the killer and someone else and she intervened. No official word from the police as to whether anyone else was involved.

Isis like to exploit vulnerable people to commit atrocities. Far-right groups do exactly the same. In fact, what makes me cringe is that ironically the racist Britain first (who will all be up for brexit, make no mistake) actually have more in common with Isis than they are able to fathom in their tiny little brains. Intolerant, hate people who are different and believe in violence. Basically they have common similarities with Isis, Isis are right-wing but with a different cause and label to fight under. Ultimately they are both a set of cnuts!

The most poorly named paper ever. This contradicts the BBC news and his neighbours comments. please dont find information about a person to be an inconvenience. that would be no different from saying 'don't look into whether this guy has links to isis' after a terror attack. if someone did that they would be accused of having an agenda. the cards will fall where they will. after all how they fall may shine a light on why this poor woman lost her life. in a way i hope he was just 'mad' and not someone with misplaced anger in his heart. at least then i could pity all involved.

One matter that looks consistent is that the perpetrator had a history of mental health problems. Do we think a revision of mental health care is needed? For example locking up and chemically coshing those who could present a threat to human life?

For example locking up and chemically coshing those who could present a threat to human life? We do need a revision. Despite promises by government that more will be done in this area, the recent cuts along with privatisation have had a negative effect. It could be argued that the seeds of this can be traced back in part to 'care in the community' Your second point would be very difficult. How can you ascertain for certain that someone is a risk? It seems (so far, obviously we don't know enough yet) that those who know the perpetrator are surprised he carried out such actions.

Think that we need to wait until the Police investigating update the general public upon interviews with the arrested man etc. First port of call is to remember a grieving family who are suddenly without a wife & mother. Given the tributes made by constituents and Westminster colleagues, it is clear that she achieved an enormous amount as MP within a very short space of time.

It's awful that something like this has happened. It appears that the bloke was a right-wing nut-job but this could be a total coincidence and nothing to do with anything. We do need to be very careful about making any assumptions, so many times now what has been reported after an incident has proven to be incorrect. For all we know, it may have been nothing to do with the MP or nothing to do with her being an MP.

Had never heard of her, but seems (from today's press) a decent sort. I hope nobody on any side of the EU debate seeks to make headway out of this, and just wish her family peace in coming to terms with what seems a horrible waste. I'll leave it to the police to work out what happened and why.
