That rather depends on whether Mr Townsend is one of the 66%, if he isn't then he won't be there next season no matter how many deluded Mags think otherwise!

Palace can activate the release-clause, but it does not mean a thing if the player can't agree terms, or simply does not want to come to the club, as in all transfers "the player has the final say" not the clubs or his agent.

If there is genuine interest do you not think the players agent will have been sounded out about his present and expected wages? We are hardly going to go after him then offer a totally unrealistic wage. We have been in the top flight for three years and I reckon the Directors have a grasp on how to go about their business at this level by now.

Have we had a bid excepted yet NO does the player want to come to palace doubt it if we have the bid expected and the player wants to come than fine can't see this happening at all we have bolaise and Zahra puncheon so why do we need another winger for
