is a #'s game: if you can't get the main striker you want, you bring in a few younger guys and hope someone rises up. remy isn't walking through that door and neither are any other established strikers.

Yes I've been wondering about Bamford as well. Clearly we couldn't afford to let a couple of our strikers go and then play him as our lone striker and then find out he isn't up to it after the transfer window has closed. I wonder what the arrangement is regarding playing time. We don't want another scenario like Sanogo.

I think you may be a bit out of touch in terms of a striker who has played in this division. £9m is pretty modest.

This would be a great signing,wanted Wickham at Selhurst long time ago,he has massive potential.

remember him scoring a brace at the Etihad couple of seasons ago.
Hope this is not the end of Muzza.

wickham can learn alot from muzza and become even better

he is also pretty quick for a big lad.

Would be a decent signing, got age on his side, plus had a couple of seasons in the prem for someone so young, which holds him in good stead, two fingers up to Pulis who wanted him last season and piss off Newcastle and maybe Sunderland a bit more

New challenge for him, in an exciting attack minded team,all good for me!
