How about some suggestions other than the usual put downs. It gets kind of repetitive after a while.

Gayle and Chamakh deadwood really? Like what was said before, far too much Football Manager I think.

While your at it why dont we get rid of Ward, Jedinak, Dann and Bolasie and get in Ramos, Kroos, Pique and Ronaldo

Mate, would you rather have the strikers in the list above or Gayle and Chamakh? Besides, tell me one player from this list who isn't a realistic target?

Caulker he wants to play for QPR not us, he made that very clear.

Gayle and Chamakh. Every time.

1) They're both quality. Gayle is still a bit raw, but is ruthless in front of goal. One day, we'll see him turn out for England I think.

2. Most importantly, they're ours.

My favourite part is where you think that Danny Ings is more ambitious than Javier Hernandez.

What are your suggestions on who we should sign or target for the coming season?

My suggestions are the following:
1. John Ruddy
2. Virgil Van Diijk
3. Fabian Schar
4. Jonjo Shelvey
5. Charlie Austin or Danny Ings
6. Idrissa Gueye

Agree we don't need a keeper.
Van Diijk yes
Fabian Schar - linked to west ham - [Link]
Jonjo Shelvey - definitely, think he would do well
Yes Charlie Austin, seems bigger clubs are more interested in Danny Ings
Don't know too much about Idrissa Gueye
Still think we may need another left back and maybe another striker - Troy Deeney or Callum Wilson
Get rid of Campbell.

We only need to bring in 2 or 3 players realistically - 4 absolute max, but we need to make sure we buy quality in the areas we need to strengthen (forward /cb are musts) and perhaps have the luxury of buying young potential where we are looking at cover (i.e CM or wide players)

As for the GK situation - torn between can Jules see another season out or do we need to invest.

I think we will go for Gestede for deffo plus another forward for a decent sum - Ba, Ings or Austin, based on what we have seen this season of Ings and Austin that would be superb.

A pool of Gestede, Ings or Austin or BA with Muzza/ Dwight / Chammers would be fantastic to choose from with Ameobi, Sanogoals and Campbell going.

Potentially a wide midfielder - a younger, rawer player from Champ level as cover and to learn? (Gray from Brum type ??)

We need a CB who is better / as good as Scott Dann to play with Scott Dann - haven't seen enough of this Celtic guy to comment on him but if we could keep Damo for another season as cover I would be happy
