We are entitled to gloat. We deserved more than a point, they didn't throw it away. We showed them what passion, guts and playing till he end is all about. When they did the same in Istanbul it was all about them. Well this time it's all about us. Totally deserved comeback.

Stop this silly nonsense. It's not all about Liverpool. Watching the after match discussion was appalling. There was a scouse legend telling us how badly Liverpool played and an old England star just nodding approval. Nothing about how a newly promoted team had dug deep and made the opposition look anything but title contenders. All about Liverpool. Then I come onto the great Holmesdale site, a site dedicated to my beloved Palace to find everyone gloating about Liverpool. It's nothing to do with how they played or how their fans feel. Come on everyone, it's about Palace. Who among us really cares what other clubs and their fans think? Let them care about us. They don't.

Any team that loses a three goal lead in ten minutes has thrown it away. Could you imagine us doing that under Pulis? Never would happen. Fact is Brendon Rodgers and Liverpools own arrogance damned them. Rather than bringing on a Defender at 3-1, and seeing the game out, they arrogantly thought they could just go on and score more goals. We exploited that, and made them pay.

But no team should ever draw from being three nil up, with ten minutes to go.

Love it all. Before the match I still kinda wanted Liverpool to win the title instead of Man City. But I was totally blown away by the Palace revival which carried all before it. Like everyone else around me, I was on my feet from the second goal onwards and willing Palace to get the third. I love the reminders of Liverpool arrogance and especially the b*llocks from Brenda about preparing for long ball tactics etc. Well, if they did prepare they didn't do it very well, and in any case our goals didn't come from long balls, unless that's what you call Delaney's stunning pass to Murray, his superb chest-down and Gayle's super-cool finish. (Correction: Dann's pass, not Delaney's.)

Totally agree peterg, they played more long balls than we did and yet the pundits were still going on about it after the game. W*nkers.

From the Mail: A long ball from the back was chested on by another substitute, Glenn Murray, and fell to Gayle, who left Mignolet with no chance.

It wasn't from the back you arsehole, it was from the halfway line

(Was Dann to Murray for the 3rd goal btw!)

Just enjoyed re-reading the Guardian preview of the Liverpool match on Monday morning. "Rodgers expects City to slip up in home straight." That's the first laugh.
Second, Brenda talked of not only winning but also scoring a hat-full of goals, and recalled how Chelsea beat Wigan 8-0 in the last match of the 2009-10 season. "If there is any team that can score goals and turn it around it is us."
To which I say, arrogant f*cker. Liverpool showed the same arrogance at Selhurst, strolling around as if they owned the pitch and then hurrying back for the restart after they scored their third goal, as if this was going to be a cake-walk.
Well, serves them effing right. They got what they deserved. They didn't take Palace seriously and they blew it. One of my best moments supporting Palace.
