What an utterly ridiculous thing to say. Totally disagree. Nothing, provided you actually do that. We have no hope of getting something playing at home to another team in our division ? Ridiculous. How much hope would Ipswich, or Reading or Watford have against them at home ? Some, but not much. Everyone has some chance in this league and therefore some hope. You may not have, but it literally can't be based on goal scoring and league position as that doesn't make sense. You're just incredibly negative and miserable - it's not the same thing. if you are not just stirring it up and genuinely believe we have a chance of getting even a point against Chelsea, you need your bumps read mate. Why ?

Okay, why? the way we are playing vs the way Chelsea are dismantling teams - we'd be lucky with a 3:0 defeat on saturday let alone a point. Meltdown? not exactly chum. Just had enough of watching the same dross, listening to the same excuses and then coming on here and reading the same rose tinted cack from keyboard experts/warriors such as yourself week in , week out. The whole matchday experience of going to see Palace has soured for me, despite being in the B block, so, at the risk of uspetting you and dear god, exercising my right to choose, I've decided not to renew my season ticket for next year, despite having had it for at least the last 15 years or so.

Newcastle are our biggest bogey team over the years I have followed them (since the late 60's). We have to get 3 wins in my estimation to be safe. So, our away games are crucial against Cardiff and Fulham. Any points against Everton and West Ham away are a bonus, so Villa at home is a MUST WIN game. We have to assume nothing against Chelsea, City and Liverpool. It is tough, but it is for everyone at the bottom. My lad and I renewed our ST in Block D Lower Holmesdale. Stay positive. We are due to make our own luck (Oldham 92/93, Villa 94/95 and WBA 04/05 are painful memories as we snatched relegation from the jaws of safety). We must not make the same mistake again this time. COYP.

We've had season tickets for a lot longer than 15 years although only being able to take in 8-10 matches per season, we'll be buying ours STs next season what ever league we're in, it's called supporting your club.

And I admire you for that but at £430 for next year and with not enjoying watching it anymore, I won't be. I find it hard at the moment to justify the expense as well.

...bloody hell you lot, we are Crystal bleeding Palace and we were always going to struggle this season, how can anybody be so surprised.....and we still have a reasonable chance of actually surviving, something I gave us absolutely no chance of doing at the start of proceedings.....calm down and enjoy it, because if we do survive you will all only wish you did.

Watched the whole game online,we deserved a point for sure.Thought we created some good chances while limiting Newcastle to only a few.If 1 goes in think more will follow.Roll on the W/E against Chelskie,a good time to start hitting the target.
Europe here we come,it would be nice to have a day out at the seaside... Just My Thought... |

I can not be fcuked to read through eight pages of bollicks, so I'll hazzard a guess and say that the majority of it is moaning because we didnt go out and slap our willys around the toons collective forehead and dry hump them 96-0. GET A f***IN GRIP. We were a slighty above average championship side less than 10 months ago with a Wilf. We are probably the smallest club in terms of fan base and spending power in the bottom 9 or ten clubs of the prem, we certainly have the cheapest squad in the divison and spent the least money, and now with out a wilf. What we do have in spades is team spirit, and a desire to not go down, and a manager that as far as I am concerned is playing to our strengths. This is Palace we were never going to be mid table, we've never survived more than one season in the prem, yet we still (despite all the wrist slitting and throat slashing on here) have a chance of staying up, and looking at the other teams run ins, a bloody good chance. So stop moaning like a cheap crack whore, We are Palace and we might, just might defy the odds and the knockers and stay up.
