I love Jules. He is probably the last player we will have that plays over 300 games for the Palace.

I do however believe that his good form this season may be partly due to having a decent understudy waiting in the wings.

I am sure that Jules will carry on playing past this season. The question is whether it is with Palace or not.

Der der der.....Julian Speroni.

If he does leave we now know who the statue should be of....

A new era of total football is on the way to Selhurst Park!!

Jeff, Wayne has only been at the Club for 3 Games.!!!!
His form has been good for several seasons.
Other than penalty saving.!!
He also comes for crosses nowadays.

To all the people saying 'it's football deal with it' , this argument very quickly fades away when you realise we offered RAMAGE and GARVAN new deals without any hesitation at all. Without going over old ground, we also gave contracts out A. To players who have ALREADY left. And contracts to players who will probably never play for us again.

I just think all considering it should be a no brainer to offer him a new deal.

I also do feel, although uncharacteristic of the man, it may be a move to force parish' hand earlier, as there are a lot of players in this position come the end of the season.

With you on this. Great 3 or 4 years ago but not good enough now. People say he's been great this season but I just don't see it. Earlier in the season he had the second worst saveshots ratio in the division. All that's changed since is that the defence has got better. Still lets in far too many saveable shots - e.g. he really ought to have saved Rooney's shot last week as it was in the centre of the goal.

Having said that, he definitely deserves a testimonial.

I always thought the Goaly was part of the defence.!!!
He certainly has improved since the Everton Game many years ago.
And i saw him save a Penalty.

Then you have a better memory than me!

Not having a go but people thinking Jules is only performing well because of Hennessy is very frustrating unfounded and unfair.

Didn't he do 'War of the Worlds' with Justin Hayward?

I just hope Jules is trying to jog the memories of those at the helm that he is nearly out of contract. I must say I would not have thought this necessary but it seem as if it is and I find this difficult to understand. Hope somebody with an office and a desk will get the message and set the matter straight asp.

No problemo mange tout, Jules can retire and just spend Saturdays at his restaurant in Purley, then all 25,000 matchday goers can go to see him after the game for there fix of the Argentinian genius.

The boss is well aware, but is clear no contracts will be renewed until our fate is known:
