It always amazes me how wan***s are placed in positions requiring both common sense and the ability to make timely decisions. Somebody should be taken to the woodshed for six of the best for being an idiot. Anyway ,I won fifty quid by betting on the cancellation.

Absolutely disgraceful. The Red Warning from the Met Office went out at around lunchtime today. They've had all afternoon to call the game off, but didn't bother until about half an hour before kick-off. Pathetic. Feel awful for everyone who braved the conditions and made the trip anyway to cheer the boys on. Best fans in the country. Feel bad for the Sunderland supporters, too. Hope you all have a safe journey home.

I had ticket, trains and hotel booked but decided at 11.30am this morning I wasn't going to risk it due to the horrendous weather report so why the hell did Everton fc leave it this late? Its an outright disgrace and I feel for everyone of you up there now. Lets hope we smash them in the re-arranged game. COYP!

The Ref could've called the game off at lunchtime,it's windy all over the f**king country right now. had the match been called off at lunchtime it would've saved players and fans alike a trip.

Yeah, but think of all that advertising money at stake. The media calls the tune at the end of the day. But even they can't overturn the Elves (and Safety) ...not yet anyway!!! Unfortunately, as fans we are a long way down the food chain!

Gutted for those that made the journey! Been there before when I went to Forest in 90's after being called off for rain and ice previously I made the journey midweek only to be told it was fogged off! GT

Really fancied our chances tonight. I agree that Everton should have done better and cancelled the game much earlier when WEATHER RED ALERTS were issued by the Met. Safe journey back home all that journeyed up there.
