Michael Hughes.

Legend.

Michael Hughes. Wholeheardly agree. Hated him when he played for opposition (good sign)but loved him as he was brilliant for us. Superb midfielder, hard worker with a good degree of nastiness which is essential.

Can still picture superb header he scored at Holmesdale end in high scoring match against??

Norwich 3-3 near the end of the Prem 04/05 season.

I was gonna say Hughesy as well. The guy had everything.

In the last five years, Zaha by far.

We have endless credit for him, don't we?

We're looking for an opportunity to sing "he's just too good for you".

For me it has to be joel ward....cost us 425k and almost 100 games later has pretty much not put a foot wrong, the very epitome of Mr dependable. Effective if unspectacular,

Yannick comes a close 2nd...300k couldn't get a game at brizzle City and now terrorising PL defences most weeks.

We are in a completely unique situation as a PL club where you look at what our core players cost us,

Speroni 750k 10 years ago

Ward 425k
Delaney f*** all
Dann 1.5m

Jedi f*** all
Ledley 800k
Bolaise 300k
Wilfried f*** all (in fact were in profit on him)

Murray f*** all.

That's 9 of our 1st team cost a total of 3.75m...absolutely rediculous...in fact they are all most loved,

Seriously. This is unbelievable. I am very proud of this, too.

And on Monday we turned over so-called champions who couldn't feed their club cat for a week on that amount.
