Easy..When I was an apprentice for Aston Martin Lagonda many moons ago whenever the guys told me, or showed me something during my training instead of saying 'yes' or 'no', I would just nod my head to agree or not..So one of the lads, I even remember his name 'Ron Holbrook' let it be known that hence forth my name was NODDY...It stuck from then on Noddy
