Todays first download is one of the most amazing bootlegs I've come across in the last 12 or so years of collecting. This is a compilation bootleg of shows recorded at the BBC in London between 1964 through to 1969. The recordings were later broadcast on the famous us radio show Westwood One called "The Sixties At The BEEB" and hosted by Andy Peebles. This is a who's who of 60's music and just about everyone is here from A-Z - an incredible line up of the top recording artists of the day, performing some really rare tracks. The quality of these recordings is superb considering the age of the material - and all discs are from FM broadcasts and sound top notch. I can't say anything else about this bootleg box set except - if, like me, you were around in the 60's - grab this and take a trip down memory lane, and take a look at this line up...... WOW!

Todays extra download is a set by blues legend Muddy Waters that was recorded in Paris, France on the 7th November 1976. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast and it sounds top notch. Good quality boots by MW are rare - I only have a few myself. This is a good one and if you like a bit of blues guitar - then grab this show.. this is thoroughly recommended....

Todays second download is a set by The Shins that was recorded at the Paradiso, Amsterdam on the 5th April 2007. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. According to my files this is only the third bootleg by this band that I've posted - mainly because good quality boots by this band are very rare and hard to find. If you like The Shins then give this one a go... this is thoroughly recommended.... and then some!..

Todays first download is a set by the late Lou Reed that was recorded in Stockholm, Sweden in 1974 - the exact date isn't listed. The quality of this bootleg is absolutely superb - really crystal clear sound with the audio for the show being taken from a Pre-FM broadcast recording of the set. This is Lou Reed at his very best backed with a superb backing band. A ten minute intro which segues into "Sweet Jane" and then into "Vicious". An 11 minute version of "Heroin" rapidly followed by "Walk On The Wild Side", this is great stuff and the audience love it... He lets rip with a wicked version of "Im Waitin For The Man" ... If you think this show is familiar then you will be correct - I've previously posted a shorter version of this one - but this is the complete show from another source and it sounds a lot better... If you like Lou Reed you must have this one...
