Todays first download is a bootleg by Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros that was recorded at Acton Town Hall, London on the 15th November 2002. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundsboard and sounds top notch. Joe and the band were touring on the "Bringing It All Back Home" tour and included this benefit gig for members of the Fire Brigade who were on strike. Mick Jones was in the audience and he joined Joe onstage for the final three songs - the first time the two had shared a stage together since their last performance with The Clash in 1983. Joe Strummer died of a undiscovered congenital heart defect just over a month after this show. This boot was a fan club only release and is a must have for all fans of Joe Strummer/The Clash - this is thoroughly recommended.. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from a webcast and it sounds absolutely top notch. I've posted a few shows by DD over the years - this is another top sounding boot for the collection. If you like Duran Duran then give this one a go.... Todays extra download is a set by Aussie all girl band Warpaint that was recorded at the Laneway Festival, Footscray Community Centre, Melbourne, Australia on the 1st February 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast and sounds top notch. The show was recorded on the 1st Feb but not broadcast until 21st April 2014. This is the first bootleg by this band that I've posted but not the first album as I've previously posted one of the bands studio released albums. If you like Warpaint then grab this show... if you don't know them then give them a try.... This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. This is a wicked show which features The Moody Blues, Freddie & The Dreamers, Georgie Fame & The Blue Flames, The Seekers, Hermans Hermits, Cilla Black, Donovan, The Rolling Stones and The Beatles. Todays second download is a bootleg of demo's and early versions by Starz. This bootleg is in superb quality with the audio taken from the studio master tapes and sound fantastic. This band rock big time - a great band who never got the recognition they deserved. I've posted a few shows by Starz in the past and if you downloaded any of those you know what Starz are like and are probably downloading this. Todays extra download is the first album or bootleg by this artist that I've posted. This is Aaron Neville and a set recorded at this years New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival in New Orleans, LA. on the 4th May 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast of the set and it sounds fantastic. Aaron has been around since the mid 1960's and is a soul/r&b singer and musician. This is a wicked set which features covers of tracks by Curtis Mayfield, John Hiatt, and The Main Event. If you like a bit of live souldful/r&b then grab this one.... Todays first download is a very recent set by Damon Albarn that was recorded at The Alhambra, Paris on the 5th May 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast of the set and it sounds top notch. I've recently post DA's latest solo album "Everyday Robots" and a lot of the songs here are from that album. He also performs a few songs from his Blur and Gorillaz days... If you like Damon Albarn then grab this one... this is thoroughly recommended....
