Not liking the noises being made about price and funding of the new stand by those who attended meetings at the club today. Also looks like the HF haven't yet decided whether to accept what's on offer.

Although I can't be sure, it's likely that demand for these seats will be high, as they were for Wembley. There are many fans on this thread alone, plus numerous people I know who are desperate to get in there (myself included), 400 ST's will be snapped up like hotcakes, I suspect on a loyalty points system. Better media coverage (in this media driven world)?Think the HF have achieved that already, have they not? They have to an extent, but there is potential for bigger things. Why not strive for making it even better? (The rest of your post deserves ignoring). Why? Repeatedly on this thread, pro HF posters have made it clear that they are better fans than the non singers Because an organised group makes an impact, a group 100 individuals do not. As we are currently experiencing, the HF are now 100 individuals and are adding nothing, hence why the atmosphere (and enjoyment for some) has tanked. These guys are extremely proactive in trying to make a difference, this why they deserve 'better fans' status, in my opinion. Don't think so. There will be many fans who are not HF or do not want to sing that have more than enough Loyalty points

Why would someone who doesn’t want to sing apply for tickets in the singing section? Perhaps I wasn’t clear. I suspect demand in there will be high, so those who have most loyalty points and want to be part of the section will get priority over over those with less priority points.

I was behind the HF in the fa cup final and play off final. I can’t remember if my ticket was in the singing section or outside of it. Maybe inside at the back for one, the fa cup final, with plenty of room! But I don’t necessarily want to be in the 400 in the lower tier. I’d prefer to be near it but not in it I think (not an option with Parish’s solution) although if it’s not going to be HF only then I would, only tickets with me wouldn’t get the choice probably (reset doesn’t work there either. This adds to why I’d like a massive singing and would get more into it, with mates grouping together, but the new stand sounds like it’s years away. Parish said yesterday that people paying for 5 seasons upfront jump to the front of the queue for the new stand. Why is he doing this? What about the £100mil ringfenced yank money? What about that reducing our FFP allowance for 5 years, if we’re still in the Prem? (Or would you sell then?) Doubtful the longer this drags on. Maybe one for the other thread. That is nothing new by Steve Parish - at the launch of the artists impressions and the model of the New Main Stand (early December 2017) he mentioned selling multiple year season tickets or debentures to help fund it. Anyone buying those would surely jump the queue to choose seats in the new Main Stand. The best 'normal' seats in the Main Stand (blocks E and F either side of the Directors Box) are already £680 a season at early bird price. Can't imagine many could afford 5 or 10 years at that rate (maybe more pr season as the new stand will surely be more expensive than the old wooden one) [Link]
