Todays extra download is a set by Uriah Heep that was recorded at the Kisstadion, Budapest, Hungary in 1982. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. Bootlegs in good quality by Uriah Heep are very rare - this is a good one and according to my files only the third bootleg by UH that I've ever posted. If you like Uriah Heep then grab this one - this rocks big time... Todays first download is a show celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Beatles debut on the Ed Sullivan show on February 9, 1964. This features Beatles songs performed by a whole host of artists and bands - then the show is taken over by Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr. They both perform solo sets and then join together for the final couple of tracks. This is in superb quality with the audio being taken from a DVD audio rip of the show which was broadcast on CBS on the 9th February 2014. The artists involved include LL Cool J, Maroon 5, Stevie Wonder, Jeff Lynne, Joe Walsh, Dhani Harrison, Ed Sheerah, Keith Urban, Katy Perry, Imagine Dragons, Dave Grohl, Euthymics, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Pharrell Williams, Gary Clark Jr and Brad Paisley. If you like to hear some Beatles tracks performed slightly differently as well as by the two surviving members of The Beatles - then this is a must have... Todays second download is a set by The Eurythmics that was recorded at the Mandela Concert at Wembley Stadium on the 11th June 1988. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. Only a short set but featuring some classic tracks like "There Must Be An Angel", "Here Comes The Rain Again", and "Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This). I've posted a few shows by The Eurythmics in the past but nothing lately - so if you like Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart - this is thoroughly recommended.. Todays extra download is a set by The Doobie Brothers that was recorded in Memphis, TN on the 8th October 1975. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from an FM broadcast and it sounds top notch. I've posted loads of albums and bootlegs by The Doobies over the years and this is another top sounding show for the collection. Some classic tracks from the albums "The Captain And Me" and "Stampede" - two great albums. If you like The Doobie Brothers then grab this show... this is the mutts and thoroughly recommended.. Todays first download is a set by Talking Heads front man and vocalist David Byrne that was recorded at the Keswick Theater, Glenside, PA on the 20th July 1994. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show and it sounds top notch. I've posted a load of bootlegs by David Byrne with Talking Heads but not so many as a solo performer. This is a cracking set which features a couple of tracks from his TH catalogue - most notably "Once In A Lifetime" and "Psycho Killer". If you like David Byrne than this is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by Bastille that was recorded at this years Coachella Music & Arts Festival held in Indio, California on the 11th April 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've posted a few boots by Bastille in the last year or so - they did the festival rounds last year and will probably do the same this year. This is a good show which ends with the bands hit "Pompeii". If you liked any of the previous shows I've posted - then grab this one.... Pharrell does a few cover versions during the show - and he is joined onstage by the artist whose song he is covering - Nelly, Busta Rhymes, P. Diddy, Snoop Dogg & Gwen Stefani.
