Todays first download is a set by Genesis that was recorded while the band were touring in 1975 on the "Lamb Lies Down On Broadway tour" at the Shrine, Los Angeles, California. The quality of this show is superb and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've posted a few shows from this tour in the past - and I thought I'd posted this one. A check of my files failed to find this show - so I'm posting it. This is great stuff with Peter Gabriel on lead vocals and Phil Collins on drums. Genesis always put on a good show and this is no exception as the band seem to be on top form for this show.. If you like Genesis with Peter Gabriel then grab this one - this is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is the first bootleg by this band that I've posted - but not the first album. They are called The Blue Nile and I've previously posted two of the their studio released albums. This is a show recorded at the Free Trade Hall, Manchester on the 13th September 1991 and it's in superb quality with the audio being taken from the soundboard. The reason I've not posted any bootlegs is because this is the first I've ever seen. The Blue Nile are from Glasgow originally and have released only four albums since 1984 - there are many years between albums and the last one was released in 2004 - nothing since and it's thought the band have split - although this is not official (wiki). If you like The Blue Nile then this is thoroughly recommended... Hi staffie thanks for the great Blue Nile download. One of my favourite bands since the 1980s. This is also the first bootleg I have seen for them. They hardly ever played live so it's not surprising. Cheers also for the Genesis Lamb download.
David Hopkin looking to curl one.......Absolutely amazing!! |

Todays second download is a set of BBC sessions recorded beween 1965-68 by Donovan. These sessions are in superb quality and the audio for the sets has been taken from an FM broadcast and for bootegs that are very nealy 50 years old they sound fantastic. Some classic tracks on this one "Jennifer Juniper" and "Hurdy Gurdy Man" are played - also included in the files are a couple of very short interviews which can easily be deleted if not wanted. Boots by Donovan in good quality are very rare - so grab this one - this is thoroughly recommended.... These outtakes are in superb quality and the audio for the sets has been taken from an FM broadcast and it sounds top notch. Todays first download is a set by legendary blues singer Van Morrison that was recorded at the Beale Street Music Festival, Memphis, Tennessee on the 5th May 1996. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted a few boots by VM in the past and this is another top show for the collection. The final two tracks are from a show recorded at the Supper Club in New York on the 29th April 96 and are from an audience recorded source. No Brown Eyed Girl or Gloria on this one - which is unusual for Van Morrison but it's still a top show and thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by Michael Jackson that was recorded on the HIStory tour of 1996 and a show recorded in Auckland, New Zealand on the 9th November 1996. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from a DVD audio rip of the show and it sounds top notch. Boots in good quality by MJ are very rare - I only have a few myself. This is a good one and I found it hard to believe that I didn't already have this one - but I can't see it anywhere in my files or backups. If you like Michael Jackson you will want this one...
