Angela Merkel has a problem putting a coalition together now the SPD want to oppose - so it's a CDU/Green plus anyone but AfD. Domestic issues in Spain plus the reforms Macron plans - all major players have issues at home. We should threaten to send in Boris if there's not sigificant progress by the new year.

Neither are there any benefits in leaving the EU at all. Why are the govt. planning to further indulge their debt mania because of 'no deal'? If 'no deal' is beneficial then why would it be necessary to borrow any more at all, what would it be for?

There won’t be a bounce back, at least not in my working life. Perhaps my grandchildren will thank this generation. And enjoy their jobs in porcine aviation.

They will suffer if we do and other countries will follow us. France and Germany need to think hard about what they are doing at the moment in the talks.
Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

But...but all you clap happy BeLeavers told everyone that was concerned about the potential fallout that there was zero chance of the EU not giving us what we want because, according to you, they need us more than we need them so a no deal scenario was impossible. Germany, France and the rest would be trembling at the thought of us going you said. They would be crawling on hands and knees to do deals you said. Ah, well.

Since we will be paying to exit that creates it's own leverage - we are a net contributor, so Germany and France will be paying more once we've left the building.
